Medal of Honor: Rising Sun [Prima] is a first-person shooter video game developed by Danger Close and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to Medal of Honor: Warfighter and the fourth installment in the Medal of Honor series. The game was released on October 25, 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game was re-released on the Xbox One on March 11, 2019.In Medal of Honor: Rising Sun [Prima], the player takes control of U.S. Army Captain Jack Mitchell as he leads a team of soldiers in a desperate attempt to stop the Japanese from capturing a key American stronghold on Iwo Jima. The game features a new singleplayer campaign, co-operative multiplayer, and a new competitive multiplayer mode called Warfighter Mode.
